Indigo's Bio Name: Indigo---I was dubbed this in 1986 on the streets of Philadelphia by Peter Gabriel, as he was autographing a ticket for me--I'm sure he asked me my name, but I just stood there, gaping like a fish..he kissed me, though! It is a little-known song by him, from his second solo album...I have used it for 15 years now this coming November, to write and draw under, as well as many others.. Birthday: June 21, Year of the Cat--same year as Al--so don't say I'm THAT old! Location: Amish Country, PA--for real..I know, I know... Favorite story to tell--AKA--How I got into wrestling: I was the most anti-wrestling person ever--totally didn't 'get it'..all snotty and Goth and artsy..BUT..In 1993, I went to a party with a friend in an unnamed city..long story less long--he disappeared and left me standing alone by this bookcase, knowing no one, looking like the penultimate dork with my iced tea, all in black..Well, here comes this huge blond creature..Perfectly mannered gentleman, talked non-stopped (Guess I met my match), jolly and funny and sharp as a dagger intellectually, insisted I try a Corona With A Lime thingie (I don't drink)...and ended up carrying me around all night quite good-naturedly, how embarrassing..said he was 'an athlete in show business'...Years later--friends were at my house, saying that they 'HAD' to watch wrestling...as I launched into Lecture #216, I looked over at the TV--and there was 'that guy'--I nearly died--changed forever my opinion of it all--I will never reveal his name, so don't bother..but it certainly wasn't Al Snow...but ever since then, I have been totally immersed, hooked for life...SPLAT!
